Davida is the only company making certified motorcyclehelmets in the UK.We are proud that, unlike most modern creations, thesehelmets are hand built using the best quality materialsavailable. Each distinctive livery and detail is carefully createdby individuals who still care about these things. Davida is anISO 9001 Accredited Company. Our helmets are made toexacting standards with each stage of our manufacturingprocess receiving meticulous attention to detail.

Davida began in the mid seventies as a group of motorcyclistsand engineers, designing and producing engine tuningequipment for Honda and swinging arms for the superbikesof that era. Ten years later, inspired by the racers of the 1950’sand their low dome racing helmets, we produced our firstpudding basin helmet the ‘Davida Classic’. Driven by our needsas motorcyclists we began designing and manufacturing ourrange of modern Jet-style safety helmets in the early 1990’s.

The Davida Jetintegrates the finest features ofthe traditional open face helmetinto a modern safety product thatmeets the latest European SafetyStandards ECE R22-05. We havedeveloped a unique designprocess to produce a superiorfitting helmet.

The use of extensive human headdata has enabled us to producehelmets that are proportional tohead size. The Jet comes in threeshell sizes and six helmet sizes.Sizing is achieved as follows;The smallest shell is used tomake the Extra Small and Small,the medium shell to make theMedium and Large and largestshell to make the XL and XXL.The different helmet sizes arecreated by varying the linerthickness and interior padding.Our Jet helmets are, therefore,the most efficient size andweight possible.

The initial shell model has beenfinely sculptured by hand, usingtime honoured modelingtechniques, giving the fibreglasscomposite shell an authenticclassic shape.

When putting on and taking off it is essential to use the chin straps to firmly open the aperture.

The unique shape of the Jet’s fibreglass shell and liner follows the natural shape of the head; the width of thehelmet below the ears is slightly narrower than at the temples creating a snug fit that ensures the Davida Jetis incredibly stable and secure.

The Davida Speedsteris evocative of the helmets ofthe early 70‘s. It is still made tothe same precise and exactingmanufacturing standards as it hasalways been, although unableto be approved for road use dueto recent regulatory changes.

The helmet, made with acomposite fibreglass shell anda polystyrene shock absorptionliner, is leather lined and comesin three sizes. Weighing approx.1000 grams, the Speedster is alightweight, small-profile helmetthat is quiet and comfortable.Secured using a webbing strapand double D rings and fittedwith a leather goggle strapretainer. 5 helmet studs canbe fitted for visors and peaks,(optional, state when ordering).

The Davida Classic retains allthe original design featuresof the 1950’s low dome helmet.Manufactured using traditionalmaterials and techniques, theDavida Classic is a hand builtproduct of exceptional quality.Neat and compact in design,it is an authentic example ofone of the first helmetsmanufactured. Fibreglass shellwith leather interior, side flapsand neck curtain.

Internal harness and leather neck curtain is lock stitched to the full circumference of the shell.

Retro Pilot T3

T3 goggles are identical to the T1goggles but have a reducedamount of padding around theframes. Without compromisingon comfort the overall effect is tomake the T3 smaller in size andtherefore a better fit with smallerhelmet sizes and also benefitpeople with slim or narrow faces.

Over the years there has beenalmost as many variations onthe black leather as there areindividual motorcyclists, withevery rider having at least one,but their essential appeal andsimplicity remains the same.

The 74 WRS Mk1 Kit is a highly versatile and super comfortable pair of sunglasses. Fitted with detachablearms that can be removed and replaced with an elasticated headband. The aerodynamically shaped frameis fitted with detachable and replaceable lens carriers that have additional foam padding for comfort.

A full range of spare parts is available to cover all eventualities; although, made from lightweight andflexible TR90, WRS Mk1’s are not easily broken.

TR90 is a stronger and more flexible material than polycarbonate, allowing them to mould into acomfortable and aerodynamic shape, giving an exceptionally close and wind resistant fit without creatinguncomfortable pressure points across the nose-bridge or temples.

The D4Vi9A WRS can be converted into spectacles with prescription lenses or enhanced withphotochromic lenses. Please see manufacturer’s website www.d4vi9a.com for up-to-date informationon these options.

The JPV1 is a distinctive ‘Fighter Pilot’ shape, reminiscent of the first detachable visor created for thepilots of the early Jet aircraft in the 1960’s. A robust and highly versatile visor which does not create anyannoying vibrating noises at speed. An excellent alternative to goggles or fixed wrap around visors,which can be used in conjunction with sunglasses or spectacles.

The YTG Mk1 and YMG Mk1 are a new generation of tactical goggles by D4Vi9A. The low profile and lightweight 74 YMG (106 grams)and 74 YTG (100 grams) offer a neat, clean and functional goggle that are compatible with open face Jet-style helmets. Preformed, curvedframes and lenses follow the shape of the face and fit neatly into the helmet aperture. Supplied with clear lens fitted, an additional smokeand yellow lens and protective bag. Lenses are not currently certified. Replacement lenses are available for all D4Vi9A products

The unique shape of the Jet’s fibreglass shell and liner has been designed to follow the natural shapeof the head; narrower at the jaw than at the crown. When combined with the interior, which alsofollows these lines and extends them past the shell, the snug fit created ensures the Davida Jet isstable as a rock. As well as completely eliminating ‘lift’, this ergonomic design hugs the headreassuringly and makes for a pleasantly quiet ride.

The 74 WRS Mk1 Kit is a highly versatileand super comfortable pair of sunglasses.Fitted with detachable arms that can beremoved and replaced with an elasticatedheadband. The aerodynamically shapedframe is fitted with detachable andreplaceable lens carriers that haveadditional foam padding for comfort.

A full range of spare parts is availableto cover all eventualities; although,made from lightweight and flexible TR90,WRS Mk1’s are not easily broken.

TR90 is a stronger and more flexiblematerial than polycarbonate, allowingthem to mould into a comfortable andaerodynamic shape, giving an exceptionallyclose and wind resistant fit without creatinguncomfortable pressure points across thenose-bridge or temples.

Aviator Retro Standard provides an ideal complement to the Davida Classic, featuring a highly

versatile adjustable nose bridge (except Cuir Mask). The unique design ensures a comfortable,

individual fit with an effective airtight seal. The sliding mechanism widens the nose bridge

by an extra 1-10mm allowing frames to sit neatly around the eye sockets. A pivoting joint

between the nose bridge and the frame allows the goggle to follow the curvature of the face.

Shaped to give maximum peripheral vision, all Retro Standard frames are manufactured

in polished rolled brass and coated in a variety of finishes. All Retro Standard Goggles are

supplied with clear polycarbonate lens, two sets of acetate lens in smoke and yellow,

Manufactured in the UK and based on the original RAF flying goggle of the 1940’s, the Halcyon Goggle is a popular choice for use with all styles

of open face helmets. Halcyon frames are made from brass. They are either chrome plated or painted in a variety of finishes and hand stitched

to a one piece padded leather or PVC Face Mask. (except Mk6 which does not have a nose section). Most prescription lenses can be be

accommodated within the Halcyon lens frame.
