We will need lots of candy for this event! Please bring any candy donations to the church office. _____________________________________________________ Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Operation Christmas Child collects shoeboxes filled with gifts and delivers them to children in need around the world. Every one of these shoebox gifts is an opportunity for the Gospel. You can be a part of this worldwide effort to grow the Kingdom of God even in places where the Gospel has never been heard. Please pick up a shoebox in the vestibule today! When you pack your box, please include $9 (in the provided envelope in the vestibule) to help defray the cost of shipping and other project costs. Also, please attach the provided label to the lid specifying whether the box is for a girl or boy and mark the correct age category. Please DO NOT include the following items: candy; toothpaste; used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; seeds; chocolate or food; liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; or aerosol cans. _____________________________________________________ There is a gift box in the vestibule for you to place baby gifts for expectant parents, Matthew & Christy Norman (Matthew is the son of Van & Jan Norman). The box will remain in the vestibule through the month of October. _____________________________________________________ If you have any old devotional magazines that you would like to pass along to others, please bring them to the church office.
