INDUSTRY FORUM: SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS SEA BASS AND SEA BREAM FARMING CHALLENGES IN THE MEDITERRANEANORGANISED AT: Aquaculture Europe 2019 – OUR FUTURE - GROWING FROM WATERDATE & TIME: Tuesday 8 October 2019, 14:00-17:00LOCATION: Estrel Berlin - Sonnenallee 225, Berlin, Germany
If you are interested in new and innovative solutions to improve the performance of Mediterranean aquaculture, then come to our Industry Forum!
Join us for an open discussion on the ‘Sustainable Solutions to Address Sea Bass and Sea Bream Farming Challenges in the Mediterranean’, an event co-organised by the PerformFISH and MedAID H2020 projects. The Industry Forum will start by providing an overview of the challenges that Mediterranean aquaculture faces in becoming more competitive. The challenges will be presented by industry representatives from various Mediterranean countries. The tangible solutions to these challenges, which are under development by PerformFISH partners, will then be presented. These solutions are designed to be easily implemented in Mediterranean farms. MedAID will reveal to the participants their latest findings regarding social acceptability and the economics related to production and markets of Mediterranean aquaculture products. The event will end with an open discussion between presenters and participants on how the proposed solutions can be implemented at farm level, and how they can improve the overall performance of this highly important sector. The full programme of the Industry Forum can be found overleaf, plus online at: performfish.eu/industry-corner More information about Aquaculture Europe 2019 – OUR FUTURE—GROWING FROM WATER can be found here: aquaeas.eu/uncategorised/402-welcome-to-aquaculture-europe-2019
