System overview
IS 300 – individual system with all possibilitiesThe Intercom Server IS 300 is a compact-sized and cost-efficient, yet fully-featured Intercom Server that can be operated both as a stand-alone unit and as part of larger Intercom network environments. Dimensioned to fit two units side-by-side in a 19” rack, IS 300 is designed to meet the requirements of small-sized to medium-sized applications in all markets as well as installation sites with limited space conditions. For this purpose, IS 300 interfaces smoothly with the entire Commend product world, but can also be operated as a stand-alone unit.

Installation instructions
Mounting instructions – With regard to the CE mark, the Intercom Server is suitable for the following types of application: residential buildings, office and commercial premises, small
businesses and industrial premises with public low-voltage mains supply.
– Mounting and installation of the Intercom Server IS 300 and of the equipment may only be carried out by authorised service personnel.
– The housing may not be covered. Sufficient air flow must be assured.
Configuration via IPThe Intercom Servers IS 300 is automatically recognised in local networks by CCT 800 for configuration (reachable via layer 2).
MountingThe Intercom Server IS 300 can be mounted using a rack mount kit or a wall and desk mount kit: – For rack mounting, a 19“ rack mount it PF-RM-1HE is required (available separately; for mounting, see short reference “ PF-RM”).
– For wall mounting, a wall mount kit PF-WM is required (available separately; for mounting, see short reference “PF-WM”).
