A community organization formed in January, 2002 to

provide input and guidance to the planning,

development and management of a safe,

clean and informative non-motorized multi-use trail

between the two ferry terminals, and maintain the environmental integrity of the existing green belt for

all to enjoy

• Funding Request– DHTA requested HRM release $500,000 for construction of

area 4 Tupper to Cuisack St. from the $1 million of the Community Integration Fund

– Approved by Harbourfront East Community Council to go to Regional Council with staff recommendations (Jan 6, 2005)

– If approved, construction of this section could start Spring 2005 subject to coordination with the Harbour Solutions Project
