1.- SCOPE OF SURVEY

The present survey was carried out by request of Mr. Juan Escobar from Puerto Central., in order to

perform arrival verification and discharge supervision to 1912 Vehicles, trucks, machineries from MV

Morning Conductor, destined to San Antonio Port Voy: 068 according following detail:

Stowage and lashing of vehicles onboard vessel.

General condition of vehicles onboard vessel.

Discharge operation of vehicles.

Damages/observations noted on vehicles during post-discharge inspection alongside vessel.

Onboard attendance and survey ashore were performed in accordance with procedures agreed

with client.

5.- ARRIVAL CONDITION SURVEY (ON BOARD):

OPServices surveyors attended onboard vessel prior to commencement of unlashing and discharge

operations and requested voyage information to Chief Officer, who reported:

Good weather condition during voyage, no sea protests filled X

Condition of holds/car decks was noted to be generally good, decks were clean and dry, and

lighting was satisfactory.

Vehicles arrived duly stowed. Clearance between vehicles was average 20-cm door/door and 50 cm

bumper/bumper.

Lashing of cars consisted of clappers / polypropylene bands.

No shifting was noted.

General condition of vehicles was noted to be satisfactory, although most of them arrived with a film

of dust.

6.- DISCHARGE SUPERVISION:

10 stevedores removed lashing of vehicles, this operation was coordinated by ships crew and command. No damages were caused to vehicles during unlashing.

Discharge operation of vehicles commenced from Car Deck No. 7 Hold No. 4 following from car

deck upper and lower levels.

22 drivers from Muellajes Central performed the discharge operation of the 1912 units.

Vehicles were driven off the ship through her aft ramp

Vehicles were shifted from alongside vessel by Muellajes Central Personnel to place them at pier No.

4, 5, 6 and accesses south.

7.- POST DISCHARGE DAMAGE SURVEY:

All vehicles were inspected by OPServices surveyors or jointly with receivers surveyors, as detailed hereunder:

Discharging operations were carried out under good weather conditions.

Vehicles found with damages and/or observations are enclosed in the following damage list, whereas

the following abbreviations are applied to classify damage and deficiencies according to their origin:

TMD = Transport marine damage

A damage attributable to marine transport

TPLD = Transport pre-load damage

A damage or deficiency originated before vehicle was loaded onboard vessel.

OTTD = Other than transport damage.

Factory/manufacturing damages and deficiencies, deterioration, fall out or paint failure,

which are not caused by transport impact at any transport system neither ashore nor at

sea.

OTMD = Other than marine damage.

Any impact damage caused during transportation ashore prior to commencement of

marine transport.

STEV = Stevedore damage.

A damage caused by stevedores onboard or ashore.

Also, according to repair criteria, damages or deficiencies observed are classified and

abbreviated as follows:

WPO = Will polish out.

Applied to superficial scratches (hairline type) which can be polished out.

BTU = Brush touch up.

Applied to small chips at any door, panel or bumper edge, which can be repaired by a

retouch of painting.

IHM = Item Hardware Missing

Apply to accessories such as radio, spare tires, ashtray, and so on, which must be

replaced.

NOTE : Repair Criteria code only to be applied to TMD origin damages.
