Author EventsDaniel NaegeleThursday, August 8 at 7pm, AuditoriumDaniel Naegele is an architect and a recently retired associate professor of architecture at ISU, where he taught architectural design and history starting in 2001.Naegele will talk about his new book, Guide to the Only Good Architecture in Iowa. This book is a guide to the ‘good architecture’ of Iowa and includes both renowned works of architecture as well as barns, billboards, landscapes, bridges, wind turbines, cemeteries, murals, silos, railroads, and power plants.Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Tabletop RPG4th Saturday of Each Month 2-5pm, AuditoriumAll ages are invited to join a Mouse Guard Role Playing Game. In this game, players are part of an elite squad of patrol mice who protect and assist their fellow mice. Players will actively help to create a unique story involving their characters. Cooperation, problem solving, imagination, and a sense of exploration are encouraged! A Game Master will be available to help new players and guide the story.

Baby and Breastfeeding FairSaturday, August 3 10am-12pm, AuditoriumYou're invited to a family-friendly event to learn how to support breastfeeding, find out what resources are available in the Ames area, meet other breastfeeding mothers, and enjoy activities and door prizes. Bring your pump to test its suction and get practical tips!Breastfeeding and pumping

women can participate in The Big Latch On at 10:30am as part of an international awareness event to normalize breastfeeding. Registration begins at 10:15am. Provided in partnership with Ames Public Library and Ames Loving Support Breastfeeding Peer Counselors.
