D A N C E EV E N T DE S C R I P T I O N SWe are offering a new way for you to choose your own dances for ISI national events. It’s called Choice Dance – and you can choose any or all of the dances you want to compete from your Dance test level. Each dance event entry requires a separate entry fee. All dance partners must submit a separate Dance Entry Form.All dance competitors must have passed ISI Ice Dancing tests and must compete at the highest level passed. As long as the skater has passed the individual dance, they can compete in that dance in competition events (i.e. Solo, Similar, Mixed or Pro Partner). The skater is no longer required to complete all dances in the ISI dance test level to compete in any dance(s) at that level.We will still offer the traditional Dance event format for Solo, Similar and Mixed dances, but you can now choose your own dance(s) for the competition events.You can enter both the Choice Dance events (Solo / Similar / Mixed) and the new Pro Partner event and the Free Dance event too! Please clearly indicate all of the dance events you wish to enter on this form.

If you will also have other solo and partner event entries on the Individual Entry form, please attach this Dance Entry Form to the back of your Individual Entry Form and write one check for the total entry fees. You can also put your credit card information at the bottom and we will charge your card for the appropriate entry fees.Pro Partner Events: Current ISI Professional members partnering with students or other skaters for this event will compete at the partner’s highest dance test level (not the Pro’s highest dance test level). All Pro Partner entries will be put into separate event groups from the traditional Similar/Mixed partner dance events.Free Dance Events: Skaters in partnered Free Dance events must pass the separate Free Dance 1-10 test levels. Skaters competing in Open Solo Free Dance must pass the separate Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond test levels.
