Heavy to very heavy rain with extremely heavy falls at isolated places over West Madhya Pradesh, and Konkan & Goa; Heavy to very heavy at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh; Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Assam & Meghalaya, Odisha, Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, Marathawada and Vidarbha from 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today. Thunderstorm occurred at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam & Meghalaya, Sub Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, East Madhya Pradesh, Konkan & Goa and Vidarbha from 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today. A favourable interaction is taking place between the western disturbance and the well marked low pressure area over northern parts of central Madhya Pradesh. Conditions are likely to become favourable for commencement of withdrawal of south west monsoon from parts of northwest India around 28 th September 2017.
