From the Med. Floral with Butterfly & Dragonfly - Lilac (Med. Floral with Butterfly and Dragonfly - White) (A), cut:• (7) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (60) 4 ½” squares.• (4) 8 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (36) 4 ½” x 8 ½” strips.

From the Large Floral - Blue (Large Floral - Purple) (B), cut:• (7) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (60) 4 ½” squares.• (4) 8 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (36) 4 ½” x 8 ½” strips.

From the Tonal Circles - Purple (Viney Leaf - Lt. Blue) (C), cut:• (8) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (72) 4 ½” squares.• (3) 8 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (24) 4 ½” x 8 ½” strips.• (6) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding (Purple Version). From the Tonal Circles - Purple (D), cut:• (6) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding (Blue Version).

From the Viney Leaf - Lilac (Viney Leaf - Lt. Blue) (Backing), cut:• (2) 56” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 56” x 72” back.

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)12. Sew (6) Block Ones together to make Row One. Repeat to make Rows Four and Seven.

13. Sew (6) Block Twos together to make Row Two. Repeat to make Rows Five and Eight.

14. Sew (6) Block Threes together to make Row Three. Repeat to make Row Six.

15. Sew the (8) rows together in numerical order to make the quilt top.

Sewing Instructions - Flying Geese1. Place (1) 4 ½” Fabric C square on the bottom half of (1) 4 ½” x 8 ½” Fabric B strip, right sides together (Fig. 1). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 1). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 2). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance

2. Place (1) 4 ½” Fabric A square on the top half of the 4 ½” x 8 ½” Fabric B strip, right sides together (Fig. 3). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 3). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 4). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance to make (1) Left ABC strip.

3. Repeat Steps 1-2 to make (18) Left ABC strips total.

4. Repeat Steps 1-2 and follow Figure 5 for the seam direction to make (18) Right ABC strips.

5. Sew (1) Left ABC strip and (1) Right ABC strip together to make (1) Block One (Fig. 6). Repeat to make (18) Block Ones total.

6. Repeat Steps 1-2 and follow Figure 7 for seam direction and fabric position to make (18) Left CAB strips.

7. Repeat Steps 1-2 and follow Figure 8 for seam direction and fabric position to make (18) Right CAB strips.

8. Sew (1) Left CAB strip and (1) Right CAB strip together to make (1) Block Two (Fig. 9). Repeat to make (18) Block Twos total.

9. Repeat Steps 1-2 and follow Figure 10 for seam direction and fabric position to make (12) Left BCA strips.

10. Repeat Steps 1-2 and follow Figure 11 for seam direction and fabric position to make (12) Right BCA strips.

11. Sew (1) Left BCA strip and (1) Right BCA strip together to make (1) Block Three (Fig. 12). Repeat to make (12) Block Threes total.

16. Layer and quilt as desired.

17. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric C for Purple Version or Fabric D for Blue Version strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

18. Bind as desired.
