• Obligatory elementary school education lasts 9 years

• 2 types: public (free of charge) and private

• During elementary school, it is possible to apply and take an exam for 6 or 8 years grammar secondary school

HEALTHCARE SYSTEM

• If you are a foreigner employed by a company based in Czech Republic, you can use public health insurance.

• For family members not employed by a company based in CZ and residing in Czech Republic, it is necessary to have private insurance.

• EPAM Benefits: 5 paid days per year of sick leave without medical certificate, full pay for the first three days of sick leave

• Income tax (15% of Super Gross Salary)

• Health Insurance Contributions (4.5% of Super Gross Salary)

• Social Security Contributions (6.5% of Super Gross Salary)

• In case the annual gross income is more than CZK 1,245,216, employee also pays Solidarity Surcharge Tax (7% of Gross Employment Income per annum)

• 2 types: public - working hours max 6.00 -17.00, average cost $ 41.39 –165.55 per month

• Private - working hours from 6.00 -19.00, average cost $ 322.43 per month (there are Waldorf and Montessori schools,too)

• Knowledege of Czech language is not obligatory for the enrollment

RELOCATING TO EPAM PRAGUE

Relocation Package is intended for employee and employee’s family members.

RELOCATING TO EPAM PRAGUE

RELOCATION PROCESS

Job offer – EPAM CZ job offer acceptance, reporting the vacant positions to the Czech labor office.

Visa process – applying for employee card, approval of employee card application, entry visa stamping.

Relocation – arrival logistics, flight tickets, accommodation, etc.

Biometric data collection and registration of address of stay – visit the Czech Ministry of the Interior and Czech Foreigner’s Police Office. Must go within three working days upon arrival/entrance on the Czech Teritory.

Employee card – Second visit to Czech Ministry of Interior. Must visit within 30 days to collect employee card.
