Information has been sent home to all parents/carers. Please make sure return all paperwork to the Centre as soon as possible. If there is anything you don’t understand please contact your child’s teacher as soon as possible. Student Awards
B1 Ava Neville Ava has worked exceptionally well at her preliminary units and her participation in phys ed has been excellent. Ava always gives everything a go to her best ability and with a good attitude. Well done Ava.
B2 Michael Delcos Michael has grown tremendously over the course of this semester in
both his confidence and attitude towards his fellow peers. Michael is
becoming more and more comfortable each week and this is shown
through his developing effort in relating to his peers and understanding
that sometimes it’s ok to have laugh during class time. Well done
Michael.
B3 Sam Littlewood Sam has only been at CJ's for two terms but has already made a
positive impact in the school. Sam always gives his best in every
subject, and has made excellent progress in several subject areas.
Sam has also worked hard to develop relationships with other students
and staff throughout the Centre. Well done Sam.
B4 Michael Low Michael has made a great effort to remain focussed and complete all
work to the best of his ability. He participates willingly in all activities
including class brainstorms and discussions, computer work, small
group work and individual tasks. Well done Michael.
B5 Isaia Fanene Isaia has worked hard this term in all areas. Isaia is always kind, polite
and strives to complete his school work to the best of his ability. Isaia is
to be commended for his work in Maths, English, Independent Living
and Work Place Learning this term. Well done Isaia.
B6 Kyle Tanner Kyle has excelled in all areas this term. Kyle always works to the best of
his ability in the classroom and has shown fantastic teamwork skills
when taking part in phys ed sessions each week. Kyle has also worked
exceptionally at his two work placements this semester. Well done
Kyle.

Kal@bility Basketball Carnival
Students travelled to Ray Owen Sports Centre to participate in the Kalability Allstars Basketball Carnival. This event was the largest Basketball Carnival for Ed Support students in the country with a total of 11 schools attending.
It was a very eventful day because students not only made Channel 10 news but they also won both division 1 and 2 of the entire competition. Congratulations to Kallan, Ryan, Michael L, James and Kiana who received an Allstar award, and congratulations to Lucy, Mathew T, Sajjad, Tahlia and Samantha C who received Team Player awards. Fantastic effort from all students as they demonstrated great sportsmanship and gave it their absolute best throughout the day.

Pink Day
Pink Day was 17 June. What a fantastic day we all had dressing in Pink. Pink icing cupcakes, pink icing
biscuits, jellies, donuts, strawberry milkshakes and pink ribbons were made and sold at recess and
lunchtime which went down a treat. Students got to colour their hair pink, even Teacher Tom shaved his
head, all for a good cause. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun day. We raised $187.25 for the
