Cyril Benoît,a National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) Fellow, has joined the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE). Specialising in public policy research, his most recent work focuses on private welfare and pharmaceuticals. Other research areas include legislative studies.
Florence Bernault, a University Professor of African History, has joined the Department of History. She works on the political and cultural history of central and equatorial Africa and shifts arising during and after the colonial period.
Sylvain Brunier,a National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) Fellow, has joined the Centre for the Sociology of Organisations (CSO). His research centres on the history and sociology of professional intermediary groups. In particular, he has studied agricultural advisory bodies and higher education and research inspectorates.
Pierre Cahuc, a University Professor,has joined the Department of Economics. The economics of labour lies at the heart of his research, which considers public policy and the microeconomics of the job market.
Jeanne Commaulthas joined the Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor. Her research focuses on household consumption and saving at a microeconomic level, as well as their macroeconomic implications.
Caterina Froio has joined the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics as an Assistant Professor. A specialist in party politics, she is interested in agenda-setting dynamics, right-wing extremism, and political engagement on and via the internet.
William Genieys,Research Director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), has joined the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics. His research primarily deals with comparative sociology of elites. He has also produced work on the ‘government of insiders’, within the context of Obamacare.
Martin Giraudeau has joined the Centre for the Sociology of Organisations (CSO) as an Assistant Professor. A sociologist and historian, he studies management, organisations, and capitalism.
Jeanne Hagenbach,a National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) Fellow, has joined the Department of Economics. Her work within the field of microeconomics draws on game theory and experimental economics.
Carola Klöckhas joined the Centre for International Research (CERI) as an Assistant Professor. Her work focuses on the environment, in particular the political impact of climate change on developing countries.
Benjamin Marxhas joined the Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor. He is interested in the economic motivations behind electoral behaviour and development issues in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Jen Schradiehas joined the Sociological Change Observatory (OSC) as an Assistant Professor. She studies digital democracy, particularly digital threats, digital activism, and digital labour.
Émilien Ruizhas joined the Centre for History at Sciences Po as an Assistant Professor. He explores the question of “government by the masses”, incorporating analysis of quantification processes and study of shifts in the workings of the state and civil service.
Mirko Wiederholt, a University Professor, has joined the Department of Economics. A macroeconomist, he is particularly interested in business cycles and the optimal conduct of monetary and fiscal policy.
