WHAT IS CYBER SAFETY?

It is important to feel safe while using the internet, in order to protect yourself you need to learn about Cyber Safety, and this presentation

is about how to be safe on Facebook.

GOLDEN RULES

Never chat to people you don’t know.

Only accept friend requests if you know who it is from.

Be respectful and nice to other people

If you want to upload a group picture make sure that everyone in the group is ok with that before you do anything.

Go to the Privacy Settings and read them carefully before you start using Facebook. Go back to them once in a while – they change!

PRIVACY Go to Privacy Shortcuts and make decisions regarding who you

want to share your photos, wand comments with.

BLOCKING AND SPAM

If you feel that somebody has said something mean you can always report their message/comment as a spam.

It should be easy to find where you can block or report somebody on a social network, just go to settings and then you should be able to find it under privacy settings.
