Although they seldom have a chance to learn about the invention field, they can enhance their creative thinking power by visiting research institutes and participating in various invention-related activities. On-site Invention Course This course is tailored for participants with specific demands in invention education. The participants are not required to attend the Invention Education Center in the city of Daejeon; rather, invention teachers will visit a site nominated by the participants and help them focus on specific areas of interest. Target: the general public from anywhere in the country Duration and class size: a one-day (or more) course held 100 times a year for 40 participants per course. Invention Experience Course This course offers a variety of hands-on activities in the Invention Experience Pavilion. In the pavilion, participants can experience a wide range of inventive activities and tools. Invention Experience Festival This festival offers many exciting activities related to inventions. At the display booths, participants can enjoy experiencing inventions and participating in a variety of family contests. University students from various nations run the booths to give participants a practical experience of inventions. Invention Camp for Students and Parents The camp was developed for elementary students and their parents. It helps them expand their basic knowledge of the invention field. During the camp, participants make interesting inventions, such as water rockets. Educators and Invention Promotion The aim of this course, which focuses on topics such as the policy of promoting student invention and basic theories of invention, is to help school principals and senior supervisors understand the necessity of invention. Education for Invention Teachers This course covers topics such as theories on invention education and the practice of invention. It offers invention teachers from elementary, middle, and high school a sound basis for invention education. Training for Teachers of Children Gifted in Invention By highlighting theories on the education of children gifted in invention as well as other topics such as how to recognize gifted children, this course offers a sound educational basis for teachers of gifted children who excel in the field of invention. Pedagogical Practice for School Invention Programs For teachers experienced in running invention classes or invention clubs, this course offers a chance to acquire advanced knowledge about the invention field.
