Research Expertise and interests:

Dr. Yadav’s research focus is to understand the biochemical and molecular mechanisms of metabolic

disorder-induced chronic inflammatory diseases including diabetic and cardiovascular disorders, and

asthma and COPD. His laboratory strives to unravel the inflammatory cascade involved in the initiation

as well as progression of inflammatory diseases utilizing both in-vitro and in-vivo experimental models

to study the mechanisms at cellular and molecular levels utilizing advanced biochemical, molecular,

cellular and immunological techniques. His aims are to perform translational research to identify novel

biomarkers for health risk assessment and potential drug targets with the aim to develop mechanism-

based anti-inflammatory drugs for clinical intervention and prevention strategies.
