systems and their developments.
Co-ordination of the collection and analysis of data on
productivity, marketing and agro-industries in the sub-
region for policy co-ordination and harmonization of
data.
Identification of areas of excellence in the fields of
agriculture, environment and energy and promote sharing
of such experiences among member states.
Development of sub-regional programmes and projects in
areas of natural resources, energy, food security and
environmental protection as well as identifying possible
sources of finance.
Responsible for co-ordination and direction of the
activities of all staff in the Division of Agriculture and
Environment.
Responsible for advising the Executive Secretary on
matters pertaining to agriculture, food security,
environment, natural resources and energy.
