Dr. Hanumanthappa D G is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the

Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Political science, Rani

Channamma University (RCU), Belagavi, Karnataka (India). He was born and

finished his Primary and higher School education in a village Called Devigere

and Secondary education in a town called Hosadurga of Chitradurga District,

Graduated from Government First Grade College Hosadurga, and Moved to

Shimoga for higher education and obtained his Master Degree M.A in

Political Science from Kuvempu University. His academic appetite did not end

at this; he travelled to Mysore for Complete his academic endeavor through

enrolment in the topic Entitled “E-Governance: Implementation of Nammadi

Plan(Atalji Janasnehi Kendra), A case Study of Davanagere District in

Karnataka State” and awarded in 2015 Ph.D in Political Science from

University of Mysore at Mysore of Karnataka State - (India). He has Cleared

Both UGC- NET (Political Science) Examination conducted by university

Grants Commission in 2010, and Cleared K-SET (Political Science)

Examination conducted by University of Mysore in 2011.

After his academic accomplishment he joined Davanagere University as a

Guest Faculty in the P.G Department of Political Science in Davanagere. He is

author of 06 books, He is 08 years of teaching Experience; he has published

more than 50 Research Articles and he has been a regular contributor to

various Journals of national and international fame. And also he has been

Presented More than 60 Research Papers in National and International

Seminars/Conferences in India and Abroad.

He is also Editor, Associate editor, Assistant editor, Reviewer and Editorial

board member of varies international Research journals in India, UAE,

Nepal, USA, Australia, Abudabi, Pakistan and Philippines. His specializations

are E-Governance, Public Administration and Indian Political System. He is

firmly committed to contribute his best to the academic development of

students in his specialized areas.

Academic Development

All courses of various academic programs have been revised by keeping the

latest development in the respective domain knowledge and careful

evaluation, of each course, student strength has been increased depending

upon the need which has facilitated to increase the Gross Enrolment Ratio in

this educationally backward region and finalization of the policy note of the

University.

VISION

Have imbibed special flavor for teaching and research in the domain of E-

Governance and Indian Administration and hence my vision is to uplift those who

are downtrodden and marginalized but enthusiastic to grow further heights. In

the domain of higher education, owe to improve the gross enrolment level. The

curriculum shall be device by keeping contemporary development, which will be

oriented towards improving the employability of the students. As a visionary for

higher education, the extension activity of the organization needs to be fully

activated by integrating research with application that will benefit the sustainable

development of the community.
