CCA SCHOOLGURGAON

It is an undisputable fact that plants occupy an indomitable place in the life of all living

beings. We at CCA School advocate and motivate our students towards creating a greener, cleaner environment. This can only be achieved by Tree plantation on a regular basis. V a n - M a h o t s a v s h o u l d b e celebrated with the same fervour as any other festival.

On the 9th of July 2018, students of classes IV and V were taken to our Sports Complex located in Sadhrana and Aravalli farms. Students planted fruit trees (Guava, Mango, Pomegranate, Papaya, Jamun, Lemon), shade t rees ( Neem, Cass ia , and Gulmohar) along with some owering plants. They were exceptionally happy to dig and then cover the pits with soil.

It was a pleasure to see our young green brigade at such a noble task. Then they watered the plants with the thought that after a few months these plants would become elegant fruit bearing trees. After having lunch they returned to school by noon. We must promulgate this drive at all levels with the hope to mitigate the effect of rampant deforestation and adverse effects of climate change.

“Van-Mahotsav” celebrated at CCA School Sports Complex, Sadhrana and Aravali farms.
