RE/MAX BonBini celebrates 5th anniversary

Last month, RE/MAX BonBini celebrated its

5th anniversary. At this time RE/MAX BonBini

maintains 2 sales offices: a head office in

Renaissance Rif Fort, and a sales office at Blue

Bay Golf & Beach Resort. Our team features

11 sales agents and 4 staff members that

assist in daily operations.

Our slogan, and mission at the same time is:

“Outstanding Service, Outstanding Results”.

Since we have managed to become the lar-

gest Real Estate Agency on the island, we

have been able to make our slogan come true

as well.

Awards 2010

It is that time of year again: the yearly sales

awards over 2010 have been allocated.

Various awards are granted, based on earned

commissions with RE/MAX International. No

less than 7 RE/MAX BonBini sales agents have

received an award this year. Reason for Mr.

Gustavo Caricote, Sr. Franchise Development

Consultant with RE/MAX International based

in Denver, Colorado of the U.S.A. to visit

Curaçao and personally hand out the awards

to the agents. This all happened during a

celebratory meeting, while enjoying drinks

and finger food. We are proud to have such

a great team of successful sales agents, that

succeed to deliver outstanding service, result-

ing in outstanding results year in year out.

Blue Bay GolfCelebrates 10th Birthday

Last month, it was 10 years ago that the golf course at Blue Bay

came into being. Reason to party, accorning to Golf Operations-

manager Argo Porte and Events-manager Daan Vos.

The anniversary was celebrated during the 10th edition of the

Golf Friends Tournament, a tournament that not only focusses

on experienced players, but aims to attract beginning players

as well. Surrounding the tournament, various activities were

organized and attractive prizes could be won. The tournament

gains were granted to ensure the continuation of Caribbean Kids

News.

The golf course at Blue Bay has been designed by Rocky Roque

and construction started in 1998. The official inauguration of

Curaçao’s first 18-hole golf course took place on April 21st of

2001 in the presence of crown prince Willem-Alexander of The

Netherlands.

The golf course Blue Bay Curaçao is characterized as a challenging

golf course, yet is reknown as a golf course that offers pleasure

to both beginning and more experienced players. No less than

six of the 18 holes offer breathtaking ocean views. Construction

was not easy, and keeping the green truly green has been chal-

lenging for ‘greenskeeper’ Yaco Goiri. It totally depends on the

water supply available. ‘Currently major investments are being

made to improve the irrigation system of the course, turning the

outlook for 2011 substantially ‘greener’. Needless to say this is

good news for golf players, residents and vacationers alike.

The apres-golf opportunities to wind down are top class: a

drink or snack at the bar, a relaxing meal at Restaurant Azurro,

a refreshing plunge in the ocean or swimming pool and a good

night sleep at one of the hotel style villas or apartments avail-

able.

Blue Bay Golf & Events has earned a reputation as the place to

go to arrange golf tournaments and events. They have gained

ample experience in the successful delivery of various editions

of the Curaçao Tourist Open’s, Night Golf tournaments, various

charity tournaments and dedicated tournaments and clinics for

local businesses.

With the opening of a second 18 holes-golf course on the

island, at Santa Barbara Plantation, Curaçao is well on its way to

become an attractive golf destination. Blue Bay Curaçao , Santa

Barbara Plantation and the Curaçao Tourist Board are actively

and cooperatively promoting Curaçao as a top golf destination.
