Cumbria Affordable Warmth Project 2010-13BASIC RULEs OF THUMB
• Energy Companies are only interested in projects that deliver high CO2 Returns• Rural Areas do not present well against the crieria due to alck of density of low income communities.
Cumbria Affordable Warmth Project 2010-13
FUNDING
Once an idea of the overall CO2 savings is calculated then the offer can go on the table
for each of the Energy Companies.
To date the average on most schemes is 50/50 contributions.
Some Energy companies though dependant on the CO2 savings will go as high as 80/20.
Cumbria Affordable Warmth Project 2010-13

out of reach?
However opportunities exist to use this process to access additional
funding to support renovation areas, face-lifting or neighbourhood
