Main meal of the day made up of several courses.

minerals.

Another word for kasha.

Time of day that the family usually eats together and talks

about things that happened.

Traditional dish made of minced meat wrapped in thin dough.

Primary language of this culture group.

We seem cold and unemotional in public but at home we show

these 2 common attributes.



What are warm and hospitable?



Common greeting used among men who don’t know

each other well.

The purpose of using titles like Mr., Mrs., Aunt and Uncle.

Used to pass on Russian folklore.



What are traditional fairy tales?



Most important institution in their society.



What is the family?



This reinforced their disrespect of time.



What is communism?



Traditional and largest religion of the culture.



What is Eastern Orthodox?



Russian values center around these 3 things.



What are the family, married life and altruism?



Important healing tool.



What is prayer?
