CULTURAL FORUM – 2017-18 INAUGURATION & CULTURAL WEEK: On 22 nd September 2017 inauguration of all forums was conducted at Bhuvaneshwari Mantap. The chief guests for the event were: sri. Roshan Baig, Sri. Ajay Nagabhushan, Commissioner, DCE, Sri. Malleshwarappa, Joint Director, DCE and Sri Sanchari Vijay, Actor. The function was presided by our principal Smt. Najeeba Khannum and all the teaching, non-teaching staff and students. In order to encourage and nourish students’ talents Cultural week was also started during September 2017. Around 26 events were conducted for the benefit of students. The winners of the events were felicitated on college annual day. DRISHTI – SRISHTI 2018 Inter-college Management & Cultural Fest was conducted on 27 th March and 28 th March 2018 in associatioin with Srujana RC Committee. Around 90 colleges participated in various events. There were 9 management events: Arbhata (Icebreaker), Suthradhar )Best Manager_), Samuttra (Business Quiz), Navikaran ( Product Launch), Svyamokti (Corporate Collage), Rohaniya (Rural-Le-Carte), Abhivadin (Ad copy), Chakravyuha (Treasure Hunt), Prajna (Mock Stock); and 8 Cultural events: Cul-A-Gana (Solo & Group song), Cul-A- nritya (Solo & Group dance, Cul-A-Raga (Mimicry of musical band), Cul-A-Ratna (Mock CID), Cul-A-Rasa (Funk from junk), Cul-A-Vaibhava (Fashion Show). Around 90 colleges participated in various events which turned out to be a grand success.

ANNUAL DAY 2018
Government R C College celebrated college day on 27th April 2018.
Presided over by the Principal of the college. The funcition was
attended by eminent guests – Dr Bettegowda, president, ikarnataka
volleyball association, Kum. V J Hemalatha , film star and Udaya TV
Anchor, Sri Vinay, film star. The special guest of the day was Prof C P
Bommanpad, JD, Directorate of Collegiate Education, Bangalore.
The guests addressed the students and motivated them to
concentrate not only on the academics but also on all round
developments. They stressed on the importance of hard work and
perseverance in reaching the pinnacle of success in life.
Students received prizes from the guests for their commendable
performances in various fields.
Every one enjoyed the programmed and highly appreciated the
organizers.
