Courses & Credits

Student course credit: minimum 6 credits total: • ENGL 415: Comparative Literature (3 credits) • ARTS 212 Survey of European Art, 1900 to

Contemporary (3 Credits) **Students who wish to complete 9 credits of

work have the additional option of taking either ENGL 490: Special Project, or ARTS 312: Contemporary Art and Art Theory (3 credits)

travel journal, and a research proposal and paper. • ARTS 212: – Focus on Polish artists and artworks in a study of

Modernism and Postmodernism in light of the economic and political events of the 20th century

– Assignments: an essay, reading journals, and a review of an art exhibition in Wroclaw.

Cost of Program

• The cost payable to VIU is estimated to be $2350.00 and includes: –program operational costs – accommodation (hostel) –program-related travel in Poland –day trips and excursions –Breakfasts, lunches on daytrips, and one

group dinner
