champion. When it comes to baseball, we

can enjoy the games of the World Series.

born on August 20, 1920. On October 3rd of

that same year, the first game was played and

the Daytona Triangles won 14-0 against the

Columbus Panhandles. Later, the Pros of

Akron were proclaimed champions. From

there, football has become a sport enjoyed by

many in the United States.Personally, I am a

fan of the "Cincinnati Bengals." If you are as

passionate about this sport as I am, you can

see “The Ravens” against the “The Titans” this

preguntarte, ¿estoy utilizando mi cubrebocas

correctamente? Ahora más que nunca es importante

mantenernos seguros y el uso de un cubrebocas es

una de las cosas cruciales que necesitas realizar para

Durante estacelebración, honramos a los héroeshispanos así como los latinos que vivenen Estados Unidos. También es unaépoca en donde podemos enseñar almundo lo colorido de nuestra cultura asícomo de nuestras raíces. El primer “Mesde la Herencia Hispana” se festejó en1968 cuando el presidente Johnsonproclamó un festejo nacional. EL 18% dehispanos radicados en Estados Unidosse emociona con la llegada de estafestividad pues es una manera en donderesaltan su cultura con danzas,manualidades y diferentes programasque los gobiernos locales organizan.

Esta tradición empezó en 1968, cuandoel presidente Lyndon B. Johnson creó laSemana de la Herencia Hispana. Unosaños después, el presidente Reaganextendió el tiempo de celebración a unmes en el año de 1980. Ahora, granparte de Estados Unidos participa enconmemorar el “Mes de la HerenciaHispana”. Por ejemplo, cada año desde2005 la Universidad de Arkansas es laanfitriona de un evento llamado “Plazade las Américas”. Este año, lo van ahacer via Zoom. Van a realizarmanualidades, clases para aprenderespañol, actuaciones y hablar de lacultura hispana en otros países latino-americanos. This monthis not only a tradition, it is also a partywhere we have fun. From September 15 toOctober 15, we celebrate Hispanic HeritageMonth. During this celebration, we honorthe Hispanic and Latin American heroes inthe United States. It is also a time in whichwe show the world how colorful our cultureis. The first Hispanic Heritage Month wascelebrated in 1968 when President Johnsonproclaimed Spanish Heritage Week anational holiday. 18% of Latinos in theUnited States get excited with the arrival ofthe celebration because it is a time whereyou can embrace your culture in manyforms, such as with dance, food, arts andcrafts, and different programs that thegovernment holds.

A few years after President Johnsoncreated Hispanic Heritage Week, PresidentReagan extended the time we celebrate toone month in 1980. Today, a large part ofthe U.S. participates in celebrating SpanishHeritage Month. For example, every yearsince 2005 the University of Arkansas hashosted an event called “Plaza de lasAméricas”. There is no doubt that sheinspires kids all over the world byshowing us that anyone can make achange. Another Hispanic hero is JuliánCastro. He was born in Texas, and hisfamily is of mexican descent. I feel honored to share this language, thetradition of the Spanish culture. I hope toteach the students this cultural concern andtolerance, which will help them in theirpresent and future. Sarah Mattle and CatalinaFonseca read the short stories "TheNeighborhood of Quinito" and "José elChévere: Ice Cream and Dinosaurs".Sarah says that it was a lot of fun to readfor young children. "Seeing those smileslit up my day," Mattle adds. For her part,Catalina shows us that for her thisexperience was based on being able toprovide a pleasant afternoon for youngchildren. Por logeneral, los huracanes afectan a todos en el estado causando varios incidentes ypérdidas tanto materiales como humanas. Por esa razón, debes saber acerca de losmismos y cómo protegerte si en tu área pasa un huracán.

Otro nombre por el que son conocidos los huracanes es por ciclones de aire cálido,pero ¿cómo se forman? De acuerdo a NASA Ciencia, los huracanes utilizan aire cálidoy húmedo como combustible. Por este motivo solamente se forman en océanos deagua templada. Allí el aire cálido y húmedo se eleva y se mueve arriba cerca de lasuperficie causando menor presión de aire cerca del océano.

After college, Ruth didn't want to stop working until she met her goal.Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with cancer, which she won the battle againsttwice. On October 14, 1980, she began working in The Court of Appeals,nominated by President Jimmy Carter. On June 22, 1993, Bill Clinton nominatedher for the post of Supreme Court Justice, a position that she served with honoruntil the end of her days.

Unfortunately, on September 18, 2020, Ruth lost her third battle with cancerand died surrounded by her loved ones. She was an example not only for women,but for the whole world. She taught us that you can do anything if you really pushyourself and give 100% every day.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was born on March13, 1933 into a middle-class family.Unfortunately, her older brother died ofcancer when Joan was fourteen monthsold. When she went to school, they startedcalling her "Ruth" so as not to be confusedwith other people named Joan. Her fatherworked in the military, and her mother wasa "housewife." From this age, she decidedthat she wanted to be a judge, but otherpeople did not like that idea because it waswell known that, at that time, womenshould be limited to being "housewives."Her mother died of cancer when Ruth wasgoing to graduate from high school, so shedid not go to her graduation ceremonysince losing her mother was something thatcaused her great pain.
