"Since Ruby’s song is music and lyrics tend to follow a trend, it could fall under the pace layer of Fashion, which Brand shows is the most rapid changing of the layers.

In order for it to stay around longer and be preserved, it must show that it has purpose so that it can possibly be absorbed into the Culture layer, which is the second slowest changing layer, just after Nature."

What would your color group preserve? Why is this important and worth preserving?Evidence from Creative Fire shows sufficient examples from the novel.

How does what your group wants to preserve influence its chances of survival? Why? How would organizational frames, structure, communication, etc. help you achieve this?Evidence from major texts to support argument.

What needs to be in place to preserve it? How might the organization work with/leverage the fast and slow dynamic of change in the different pace layers to preserve an important expression or aspect of your color group? (rapidly changing fashion and markets, slower changing infrastructure, governance and nature). Evidence based on the Pace layers is demonstrated.
