Beaches Playa Paraíso and Playa Sirena: These two

connected beaches are the most outstanding of the uniformly spectacular stretches of sand along the length of Cayo Largo del Sur. Located on the more protected western end of the island, these are broad expanses of glistening, fine white sand, bordering the clear Caribbean Sea. There's a simple beachside restaurant on Playa Paraíso, and not much else here -- and that's a large part of their charm.

Varadero: This is Cuba's premier beach-resort destination, and it ranks right up there with the best in the Caribbean. We personally prefer some of the island's less-developed stretches of sand. But if you're looking for a well-run all-inclusive resort loaded with amenities and activities, Varadero is a good choice. The 21km (13 miles) of nearly uninterrupted beach here is fabulous

Sports Water sports. Cuba is a dream destination for water

sports. Its pristine coastline and deep waters are ideal for underwater recreation such as scuba diving, snorkeling, or admiring the incredible coral reefs and extensive sea life. Equally impressive are the number of water sports that can be taken advantage of above as well. Beachgoers can try windsurfing, sailing, or fishing.

On Land. Cuba's natural landscape plus several sporting outfitters make it possible for visitors to partake in exciting outdoor activities like mountain climbing and hiking. Horseback-riding and golf are other excellent options.

Baseball. Renowned historically for Cuba's skill and loved nationally, baseball is perhaps Cuba's favorite sport. During your Cuban vacation watch one of the country's professional teams or visit a local park to watch native Cubans enjoying their favorite pastime.

AttractionsMuseo Playa giron: was built in late 1959. Desde1964 to 1976 exhibited two

lounges allegorical photographic exposure and response actions of the Cuban people about the bad intentions of mercenary forces that sought to annihilate the nascent Cuban Revolution.

Later the house was enlarged and reopened, in the Municipal Museum, April 19, 1976. Museum is devoted primarily to bring out the actions of April 1961.

It is a telling example of how the National Revolutionary Militia, Liberation Army, National Revolutionary Police and Revolutionary Navy, along with the effective action of a small air force, annihilated in just 65 hours at the well equipped mercenary force sent by the rulers U.S..

For extraordinary historical values that keeps this Memorial, the National Monuments Commission, told the Bay of Pigs Museum as a National Monument described in Resolution No. 3 of 10 October 1978.

His duties rescue, preservation, hoarding, temporary exhibition and dissemination, are also intended to history of the town. Among the most important activities carried out are: the sample month, talks, discussions, lectures, meetings with history, treatment of the most important anniversaries of each month, providing courses for adults and circles of interest.

Culture Language: The official language of Cuba is Spanish and the vast majority of Cubans

speak it. Spanish as spoken in Cuba is known as Cuban Spanish and is a form of Caribbean Spanish. Lucumi, a dialect of the West African language Yoruba, is also used as a liturgical language by practitioners of Santería, and so only as a second language. Haitian Creole is the second largest language in Cuba, and is spoken by Haitian immigrants and their descendants. Other languages spoken by immigrants include Galician and Corsican.

Music:Cuban music is very rich and is the most commonly known expression of culture. The central form of this music is Son, which has been the basis of many other musical styles like salsa, rumba and mambo and an upbeat derivation of the rumba, the cha-cha-cha. Rumba music originated in early Afro-Cuban culture. The Tres was also invented in Cuba, but other traditional Cuban instruments are of African origin, Taíno origin, or both, such as the maracas, güiro, marimba and various wooden drums including the mayohuacan.

Famous Restaurants Restaurant Cocina de Lilliam : Havana City, Cuba Location: Calle

48 #1311, e/ 13 y 15, MiramarThe most beautiful garden restaurant in Havana with some of the best food you can find in the city. Lilliam Dominguez the cook has turned her house into a lush, romantically lighted garden where dinners sit on comfortable wrought-iron chairs. I recommend you to try “Ropa Vieja”, a traditional Cuban dish prepared with lamb meat simmered so long it falls into shreds (traditionally it is made with beef, but private restaurants are not permitted to serve beef. It is reserve to state owned restaurants).

Restaurant - La Bodeguita del Medio - Havana City, Cuba Location: Empedrado No 207, e/ San Ignacio y Cuba, Havana ViejaThe walls are plastered with autographs and drawings left by travelers who have relished the bar's grilled pork, rice and black beans. This former haunt of Hemingway is extremely lively at night. daily noon–midnight; bar 10:30 a.m.–12:30 a.m.), one block west of Plaza de la Catedral, specializes in traditional Cuban dishes—most famously its roast pork, steeped black beans, flat-fried bananas, garlicky yucca, and sweet guava pudding “overflowing,” thought Nicolás Guillén (Cuba’s national poet).
