MC FOR THE CONFERENCE Tony Eades is the Director of Brand Strategy and Director at BrandManager. He assists businesses large and small to become market leaders through brand strategy, creative communications and strategic marketing delivering measurable ROI across multiple platforms. With a BA in Design Media, Tony’s career began in advertising with West Australian Newspapers and as promotions co-ordinator for Myer. He has built and sold two successful agencies, designed, developed and built a unique ‘design online’ business marketing platform, securing $500k in venture capital funding and created an interactive TV Drama series that featured at MipTV in Cannes. Tony currently works with SME’s, fast growing family businesses and corporate brands from Australia and New Zealand, China, India, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Ireland and the UK helping them achieve their market potential through effective brand marketing. As an accomplished TV and radio presenter he is currently featured on Kochie’s Business Builders TV series, producing a TV series called ‘Behind the Brand’, developing a business reality show called ‘The Suits’ and about to release his first book, ‘How to start a business in two weeks’. As an MC, keynote presenter and facilitator, Tony is a member of National Speaker of Australia and regularly hosts corporate events from 70 to 7000 attendees. SPECIAL GUESTS John Hartley Assistant Commissioner for NSW Police. Mark Tonga was born in Fiji, the eldest of 7 children to parents of Tongan descent. Mark rediscovered his love for rugby after emigrating to Australia; he trained daily and studied at nights to complete a diploma of business and later a degree in business management in 2007. On 13 May 2008, Mark suffered a C3 spinal injury during a routine rugby training exercise, was in a coma and near death. Now a tetraplegic requiring 24 hour care, Mark says that his injury has opened his eyes and broadened his heart, committed to fairness and opportunity for many people and their families touched by a disability. Mark brings his corporate and account experience to work as a Director on the board of organisations that act for people with disabilities such as People with Disabilities Australia (PWDA) and the Paraplegic and Quadriplegic Association of NSW (Paraquad). Mark has also been appointed as an Ambassador, representing hardworking charities such as Lifestart (Kayak for Kids) and Hearts in Union Rugby Foundation. Roger LaSalle is the creator of the Matrix Thinking technique and is widely sought after as an international speaker of Innovation, Opportunity and business development. He is the author of four books, Director and former CEO of the Innovation Centre of Victoria (INNOVIC) as well as a number of companies both in Australia and overseas. He has been responsible for a number of successful technology start-ups and in 2004 was a regular panellist on the ABC New Inventor TV program. In 2005 he was appointed to the Chair of Innvationat The Queens Universityin Belfast. For short visits, such as meetings, there are ample two hour free parking spaces located on Grand Parade, Olympic Boulevard and Dawn Fraser Avenue.

Visitors also have access to casual parking facilities in a number of locations across the Sydney Olympic Park precinct. Carparks P1, P5 and P6 are in close proximity to Sydney Showground.

Costs and booking

$5 per hour, up to a maximum fee of $25 per day.

Sydney Olympic Park is serviced by trains, buses and ferries. Trains depart every 10 minutes between Olympic Park and Lidcombe Station, where you are able to connect with services to the city and to the west. The Park is serviced by 5 bus routes, including the 401, 450, 525, 526 and 533. Ferries also operate from Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf to the city and Parramatta. Visit Transport NSW to find out timetable and prices.

Transport from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport If you wish to Sydney Olympic Park from the airport, taxis are available immediately outside the terminal. The venue is approximately 20 kms from the airport.

There are also train services available, with 3 types running to Olympic Park Station, which is at Sydney Olympic Park. You will need to go to Platform 1 and catch the train to Central Station. From Central, you will need to catch your connection train to Olympic Park Station. The Olympic Park Sprint, which operates between Lidcombe Station and Olympic Park Station runs at 20 minute intervals. There are direct services between Central Station and Olympic Park Station, on weekdays only. This is a limited service so it is best to check the timetable.
