INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION1.Location selectiona. Either indoor or outdoor place is appropriate for a cooling tower installationb. In case of 2 cooling towers are installed, there should be appropriate spaces between the first cooling tower and the second one.
c. Keep proper distance between a cooling tower and the enclosures
d. In case of multi cells installed in Iine, should be concerned about the air flow directions.
e. Avoid any places where corrosive gases exist includ-ing chimneys and host springf.Keep cooling tower away from hot temperature place.g. Keep cooling tower away from the smoke and dusty area.h. Keep cooling tower away from high voltage line or a transformer.
2. Positiona. Make sure that the tower is placed vertically because inconsistent sprinkle will lower the cooling tower efficiency. See pictures below.b. Tighten the anchor bolts.
3. Pipinga. The inlet and outlet pipes must be installed lower than the pipe connections of the water sumps. See pictures below.
b. The size of pipe should be as same as the pipe connections of the water sumps. A smaller size one will drop the cooling tower efficiency and the larger size pipe will waste the material.c. The circulating pump must be located below the water sump under normal operation. See pictures below.
d. 2 cooling towers which operate by a pump need to be place equally in order to balance the water level in both cooling towers.
e. High pressure flexible tubes must be used at the joists of circulating inlets and outlets with sizes over 4 inches (100mm) to avoid some vibration from the piping and prevent the water basin breaks which may cause by improper piping installation.
4. Other:a. After the installation is complete, check that there are no tools or any other objects left in the towerb. Make sure that both piping and water basin are not leaking.c. When the pressure of make up water is low, install either a water tank highter than the water level or install a water make up pump somewhere in the piping system to obtain more water pressure.
