All of us can imagine what an outstanding teacher would be like. My outstanding teacher would be a lot of fun. He would let us have recess, parties, and movies. It would be great having a teacher that is a lot of fun!

To begin with, a fun teacher would give his students time for recess. He would allow his students to play outside an hour a day. It would be so much fun getting out of the stuffy classroom and soaking up the sunlight. I would enjoy running around the playground with my friends. We could spend most of our time playing kickball. Our fun teacher would allow us to pick our own teams. Playing at recess would be a blast!

Next, a fun teacher would throw a lot of parties. We would have a party every Friday celebrating the fun we have had all week. Students could bring in cookies, chips, and soda to share. He would allow us to sit next to our friends and socialize as we enjoyed our delicious treats. A fun filled teacher would also bring in party games for us to play. We would be able to visit different game stations and win prizes to take home. Having parties every Friday would make this teacher outstanding!

Finally, movies would be a must on a fun teacher’s list. He would have a huge collection of movies on the bookshelves in the classroom. Instead of eating lunch in the cafeteria, he would let his class eat in the room as we enjoyed a movie of our choice. My outstanding teacher would give us an hour for lunch so that we had time to eat and watch the movie as we relaxed in the classroom. Watching movies everyday would make school fun.

Example, High-Level Student Essay

Many schoolteachers are outstanding. In my personal opinion, an outstanding teacher would be fun. This teacher would permit students to have recess, parties, and watch movies. Having a fun teacher would make school dynamic.

To begin with, a fun teacher would make recess a priority. Recess is a time of the day that most students look forward to. It allows us to unwind from the tedious workload we face during the day. Last year, my teacher allowed us to spend thirty minutes at recess. This was exceptionally fun because we were able to play an entire game of kickball. Once, while we were engrossed in a close game, the strangest thing happened. A large black snake slithered onto first base. The runner was so afraid that he quickly returned to home plate after kicking the ball. Within seconds we were all so concerned with the snake that we had forgotten to finish the game. As the teacher blew her whistle the snake slithered off into the bushes. Amazing things can happen when teachers allow enough time for recess.

Next, fun teachers know how to throw sensational parties. There are several holidays in the school year that call for parties. Some teachers choose to downplay these events, but an outstanding teacher would throw a fabulous party. When I was in second grade, my teacher let our class have a Valentine’s party that I will never forget. She decorated the room in red, pink, and white balloons and streamers. Our morning work consisted of learning games such as how many licks does it take to finish a heart shaped lollipop. When it was time for the party, the teacher set up a beautiful buffet with heart shaped pizza bites, juicy red watermelon, and red jello filled with heart shaped gummies. After stuffing ourselves, we danced to music until the dismissal bell rang. An outstanding teacher certainly knows how to have a great party.

Finally, movies would definitely be apart of a fun teacher’s classroom. Friday afternoons are the perfect time for a movie. Many teachers are too focused on using every moment for learning, but a fun teacher realizes the importance of having a balance between work and fun. When students watch a movie on Friday it gives their brains a chance to relax and locate a great storage place for all of the information learned during the week. Teachers need to understand that too much instruction can cause students’ brains to overload resulting in a loss of everything that was taught. There are so many terrific movies for students to enjoy. A fun teacher would know the importance of taking advantage of the help movies could provide.

To sum up, an outstanding teacher would be fun. He or she would make time for recess, parties, and movies. I can only hope that my teacher learns a thing or two from reading this essay!
