• French, Spanish, Mandarin and Latin are offered at CSW.

• Your level will be based on the placement testing.

• Students starting a new language will start at Level I.

• Mandarin I, II and Transition into Mandarin III in 2011-2012.

• Latin III and IV in 2011-2012.

Health Education

Required:

• X All 9th graders are required to take Health Education.

• New 10th graders who have not completed Health in 9th grade must take Health.

Arts

• You are required to take a minimum of two blocks of art. By the end of junior year (for incoming freshman) or senior year (for incoming sophomores), all students are required to take art courses in three of the four areas (visual arts, theater, dance, or music)

• D-block participation in dance, music, or theater counts toward this requirement.

• D-block is designed to allow students the opportunity to pursue individual passions. Students have a wide variety of options—some meeting two days/week; others meeting four or five days/week.
