Associação de técnicas para diminuição da sensibilidade advinda do clareamento caseiroAssociation of techniques to decrease the sensitivity resulting from at-home bleaching
do tratamento clareador.
do.
Abstract
The main cause of patients withdrawal in relation to
the demand for this procedure or suspension of bleach-
ing is the dental sensitivity. For this, both modifications
in bleaching agents as clinical strategies have been pro-
posed to eliminate and/or control this unwanted symp-
toms without affecting the final esthetic result. The pres-
ent case report shows the association of several strategies
to decrease the dental bleaching sensitivity caused by
16% peroxide carbamide gel for at-home bleaching. The
results showed that the patient was very satisfied with
the bleaching result and there was no record of sensitivity

a polpa, permitindo maior tempo para recuperação
desse tecido frente ao possível dano sofrido. Novos
