1. Screening Interview-

Elimination technique to shortlist

the candidates.

Usually telephonic interview.

Do’s while telephonic interview-

Seriousness

Proper voice modulation

If the candidate is not able to take the

call, he should tell the proper reason

to call him back.

Sometimes caller tune also matters.

Background Information interview -

May be face to face or telephonic.

They call the candidate and can do

the counter question regarding the

information that is given in resume.

interview-

Brush up all the probable key points.

One should know how much relevant

information is to be delivered to make

interview effective.

Can be a group interview.

In this type, one question is asked to

all the candidates or it is a type of

GD.

In this, confidence, awareness and

communication skills are checked.

Hypothetical situation is given.

Focus on analytical and problem

solving skills.

GROUP INTERVIEW + CASE

INTERVIEW is usually done in these

days.

•Situation and end result is there.

•We have to frame procedure, reason that

can lead to this end result and situation.

•This type of interview usually takes

place in defence, police and journalism.

We have to find the variety response

motive.

Usually occurs in marketing and

where behavior analysis is to be done.

Candidates go to the organizations

to talk about opening

if interaction is good then the

candidate may get the direct call

from the company

interview –

Usually feedback interview.

This type of interview usually takes

place in graduation ceremony to ask

about journey in the college.

22. Appraisal interview –

1st way- first feedback and work

hard.

2nd way- give presentation about

work and future aspect and depend

on that appraisal is based.

23. Exit interview –

When candidate want to exit, usually done

to retain the candidate back and conference

them and sort out the problem.

Never show one to one person name and

name of person with whom have the problem.
