    Dial

    + 242 X Y ZZZ.... Flashwhere X = level (0 to 9)

    Y = DaylevelZ = Nightlevel

To wash the complete table, and extn. levelsetting,

    Dial

Example 1:-Extn. 202 is to be allowed all STD numbersof Mumbai and only one particular number 079 4301201of Ahmedabad and no other STD / ISD numbers thenprogramme 022 in level 0 / location 0, 0794301201 inlevel 0 / location 1 of allowed table and 0 in level 0 /location0 of denied table.Dial

    16. HOTEL PROGRAMM I NG

    16.1Guest / Servicegroup programming

This facility is basically specific for hotels only. It helps toclassifyeachextensionunderservicegrouporguestgroup.Broadly there canbe following three types of groups:

    1) Individual guest group ('0'group) :

This is the groupofindividualguests who onlyneedtocall service group extensions. They cannot call any

    other roomnumber.2) Guest group ('1'to '8' group) :

This is foragroupofmorethanoneguests andoccupyingmore than one rooms. These guests can call servicegroup extensions and other extensions of the samegroup

    3) Service group ('9'group) :

This group ofextensions includes operator/hotel staffand management. Any extension can call this groupand this group cancall any other extension.

    To assign group to anextension,Dial

    + 38 - Extn. number - Group number

    16.2 Floor servicedestination

You can seta roomservice extn. seperately for eachfloor.Access code for roomservice for all floors shall be same(default 38), but the ring shall go to corresponding roomservice extn. dependingon the callers floor.

For example :If theroom210 onsecondfloorcalls for roomservice, ring

should go to the roomservice extension on second floor.Similarly, ifroom415 onfourth floor calls for roomservice, ring should go to roomservice extensionon fourth floor.Thishelps the hotel managementstaffto address to guest'scall in more efficient and quicker manner. This feature isalso known as floor service.

    To assign floorto anextension,Dial

    + 305 - Extn. number - Floor number

To assign a service extn. to a floor,Dial

    + 2042 - Floor number - Extn. number

    To assign room/floorservice code,

    Dial

    + 2041 - XX #

Where XX is any two digitnumberfrom30 to 38.

Default floor service code is 38.

For Example :Consider a hotel with nine rooms spreadover three floors with three rooms on each floor. Roomnumbers 202, 203, 204, 206, 207 and 208 are used forindividual guests (group 0) whereas roomnumbers 210,211 and 212 are for guest group(1 to 8 group).

Crystal EPABX allows one to programme maximumof500STD/ISD codes. Thecapacityis sufficientas itis possibleto compress manySTD/ISD codes inascendingorder withtheirapplicable pulse rate codes written againstthem.

Steps for preparing STD/ISD code table1) Selection ofSTD/ISD codes having first2,3or 4 common
