Shelters to HomesDense shelters lead to disease, emotional stress, and lack of communications and resources.
There are people willing to help by offering others a place to stay. When those in need connect with these kind people, they also find the food, water, and clothing they need. The connections recreate the community that feels lost and leads to emotional recovery.
Information was gathered and shelters were formed, but it seems few are able to begin thinking past the first week of recovery.
We are trying to help thousands of families whose homes were destroyed find a place to recover and renew their lives.
