SITUATIONCromdale Station lies on the fringes of the delightful village of Cromdale in the Cairngorms National Park. The town of Grantown-on-Spey is only three miles away and provides an excellent range of amenities including a wide range of independent shops, hotels, a supermarket, medical practice, primary and secondary schooling. Aviemore (about 17 miles) also has an excellent range of shops, a major supermarket, a railway station on the main Kings Cross line, golf course and conference facilities. The city of Inverness is a thriving commercial and retail centre and provides a range of independent and high street shopping, retail parks, supermarkets, cinema, theatre, associated services, railway and airport with services to London and various UK and European destinations.

The Cairngorm National Park is renowned as being one of the most rugged, serene and unspoilt areas of Scotland and is famed for its breathtaking scenery and wildlife. The Park has a rich and inspirational landscape with a sense of wildness and space and the countryside is unspoilt and protected. The local area offers exceptional sporting, leisure and recreational opportunities including a choice of cycle tracks, walking and horse riding. There are many accessible golf courses close by (including an attractive course at Grantown), world famous salmon and trout fishing including River Spey nearby and a wealth of sporting opportunities available on numerous Estates throughout the area. DESCRIPTION Cromdale Station is a former Railway Station which has been converted to create a charming cottage. Constructed of stone under a pitched slate roof it offers accommodation over one storey. From the former platform, the front door opens into a dining kitchen with timber panelled walls, wall and floor units and an oil fired Rayburn. To the left double doors open to a sitting room which has an open fire with an iron surround and timber mantle. From here access is gained to the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom. A boot room with a door to the garden is also accessed from the sitting room. At the other end of the cottage are two further bedrooms and a shower room. A utility room, accessed from the kitchen, completes the accommodation.

Between the house and the railway carriage is a 2 car covered port constructed in railway colonnade style.
