XTE TECHNOLOGYextremly strong & waterproof XTE stands for Cross Tyvek EVA – the most advanced technology in the industry. Tyvek® microfiber on the outside, EVA-foams on the inside. Custom developed at DARV studios, it provides maximum protection against bumps, dust and humidity. Our high-tech microfiber makes our products 100% water resistant and tear proven.

100% HANDMADEin Germany

Every single step in our production – from design generation over print to the final confection – takes place in Germany. This enables us to guarantee for ethical production standards and the best raw materials. We accept higher production costs, to do this. For the best products.

PERFECT FITdesigned to perfection Your device, perfectly protected. All our products are fitted exactly to the needs of the user and the size of the device. Protective EVA-foams, sophisticated magnet closure and easy handling put together; to provide optimal protection for your belongings.

SUSTAINABLEsocial & ecological

We see our manufacturing as a homogeneous & ecological concept. All products, packaging and promotional material are 100% recyclable and contain previously recycled components. That makes everything vegan, even the ink that we print with. Parts of our production is done in cooperation with social projects, e.g. with JVA Tegel in Berlin.

W H A T I ST Y V E K ?

Tyvek® is formed by using continuous and very fine fibers of 100 percent

high-density polyethylene that are randomly distributed and nondirectional.

These fibers are first flash spun, then laid as a web on a moving bed before be-

ing bonded together by heat and pressure - without the use of binders, sizers

or fillers. Sustainable, vegan and amazingly soft.

HISTORYThe discovery of Tyvek® was a chance occurrence by a DuPont researcher, Jim White, who in 1955 noticed white polyethylene fluff coming out of a pipe in a DuPont experimental lab. A program to develop the new material was set up, and a year later DuPont submitted a patent proposal for strong yarn linear polyethylene.The proprietary flash-spinning technology, which is the basis for what was to become DuPont’s new engineered sheet structure, took several more years to perfect. In 1959, a pilot facility was established for trial applications such as book covers, tags, labels and certain garments. In 1965, the new engineered sheet structure was registered under the trademark name Tyvek®, but it was not until April 1967 that commercial production of Tyvek® started.
