It is valid for one year and may be supplemented from time to time under the terms of the Prospectus Directive. The Issuers Securities under this Base Prospectus will be issued by either Credit Suisse AG ("CS"), acting through its London Branch, Nassau Branch or Singapore Branch, or Credit Suisse International ("CSi") (each, an "Issuer" and, together, the "Issuers"). This Base Prospectus contains information relating to the business affairs and financial condition of the Issuers. The Securities This Base Prospectus relates to securities (the "Securities") which: will be in the form of notes, certificates or warrants; may have any maturity; will either bear periodic fixed rate or floating rate interest or interest that is dependent on the performance of one or more underlying assets, or be zero coupon notes, which do not bear interest; may pay instalment amounts; and upon maturity, will either pay a fixed percentage of the nominal amount, or pay a redemption amount or settlement amount, or deliver a specified number of shares, in each case that is dependent on the performance of one or more underlying assets. In addition, the Securities may provide for early redemption or settlement at the option of the Issuer.
