If you’re looking for Creative Guidance, you’ve come to the right place!

My name is Corrine Kenner, and I specialize

in tarot and astrology for writers. Since I added tarot and astrology to my writing practice, I’ve published more than 20 books.

I’m not alone. Writers like John Steinbeck and Stephen King have used tarot cards for creative inspiration. So did poets William Butler Yeats and Sylvia Plath. The novelist Italo Calvino actually called tarot cards “a machine for writing stories.”

When I started using tarot and astrology for writing, I wasn’t trying to break new ground. I simply wanted to collect a few tips and techniques to try with my writer’s group. Over time, as I tested those methods, I discovered even more innovations.

Since then, thousands of writers have jumped at the chance to add tarot and astrology to their work. My guidebooks, Tarot for Writers, Astrology for Writers, and Tarot and Astrology, are best-sellers—and they keep getting rave reviews.

Don’t take my word for it, though. This is your invitation to try tarot and astrology for yourself.

My methods are simple and straightforward, and they work like magic. I can’t wait to share them with you!

Kickstart your creativity

Coaching is a gentle introduction to a writing life, during which you’ll discover your own unique voice—and rediscover your love of the craft.

We’ll meet once a week, either in person or online, for an initial period of six weeks. Together, we’ll build a program that will help you reach your goals. I’ll show you how to write fast, write smart, and have fun in the process. Between sessions, I’ll ask you to work on specific skills and short assignments.

Work with me, and you will see your words in print.

I guarantee it.

If you have a book, script, or memoir that you feel driven to write, mentoring is for you. Mentoring is one step up from coaching, with a focus on dedication and results.

CONSULTATIONS

Get answers

There are times when you don’t need a full-fledged writing coach or mentor. For example:

You’re just thinking about a writing project, and you’re wondering where to begin.

You’re off to a great start, but you’re not sure what to do next.

You’re exploring your options, and you need an expert opinion about publishing and marketing.

Call me. I can be a sounding board for your story ideas, or an advisor as you begin your work.

Consultation highlights

Writing and publishing are my passions, and I’m happy to share what I know.

Does your project have legs? I’ll give you my honest opinion, along with suggestions for making it even more marketable.

Are you overwhelmed by possibilities? I’ll help you focus.

Are you stuck in the drafting and development stage? I’ll help you move forward.

Have you been sidetracked near the goal line? I’ll help you get back on course.

EDITING

Polish your prose

Once you’ve completed a writing project, I can teach you how to edit it yourself. Come back for a second or third round of editing support, and I’ll go through your manuscript, too.

We can talk about whether you want careful line edits or a big-picture review of content, structure, and theme. If that’s the case, though, I strongly encourage you to apply for mentoring, so we can do much of the developmental work while your pro-ject is still in its early stages.
