2. What is creative commons? Creative commons is a way to share things that have been created and make sure that the original creator gets some credit for the work. There are certain licenses that allow types of copyright. 3. Attribution (by)Licenses may copy,distribute, display andperform the work andmake derivative worksbased on it only if theygive the author orlicensor the credits inthe manner specifiedby these. 4. Noncommercial (nc) Licensesmay copy, distribute, display,and perform the work andmake derivative works basedon it only for noncommercialneeds. 5. No Derivative Works(nd) Licenses maycopy, distribute,display and performonly verbatimcopies of the work,not the actual thing,because that iscopyright. 6. Share-alike (sa)licenses mayhand outderivativeworks onlyunder a licenseidentical to thelicense thatlooks after theoriginal work. 7. Licensescan also beput togetherto createdifferenttypes ofcopyright. 8. The license designThe license is made upinto three parts. The firstpart is machine readable.The second layer ishuman readable And the final layer is the legal code. 9. The license can be written in differentways, for example for a lawyer couldhave the traditional legal tool withmore formal language, and betterformat.Also not every artist or author is alawyer who could understand thelegal code. 10.
