Note: You must have Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice, Google Docs or another spreadsheet program to be able to take advantage of all of the instructions provided in this job aid. The instructions and screenshots are based on using Microsoft Excel. Tools, commands and screens may vary based on software used. Generate Report Data 1. Click View Transaction Report from the Vehicle Services menu. 2. Select All from the Show entries drop-down. 3. Select All from the Status drop-down. 4. Enter the Date desired for the report. 5. Leave the User drop-down at the defaulted All setting. 6. Click the Update List button.

Create and Print a Sticker Report

Revision Date: 1/24/2020

Overview Transaction History may be used to create a report showing stickers sold for a given day.

Note: You must have Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice, Google Docs or another spreadsheet program to be able to take advantage of all of the instructions provided in this job aid. The instructions and screenshots are based on using Microsoft Excel. Tools, commands and screens may vary based on software used.

Generate Report Data

1. Click View Transaction Report from the Vehicle Services menu.

2. Select All from the Show entries drop-down. 3. Select All from the Status drop-down. 4. Enter the Date desired for the report. 5. Leave the User drop-down at the defaulted All setting. 6. Click the Update List button.

Select and Copy Data

1. Place mouse pointer in the Sticker heading. 2. Left Click to sort the report numerically by sticker number.

Notes: Non-sticker related transactions will appear at the top of the report. If you do not wish to paste the information into Excel, you may stop here and click the Print Results link.

3. Place the mouse pointer immediately to the left of the C in Cart ID. 4. Click and hold down the left mouse button. 5. Drag the mouse down and to the bottom right of the screen.

6. Hit the CTRL+C keys or right-click then select Copy.

Create Spreadsheet 1. Open a blank Excel (or compatible) document.

2. Click in Cell A1.

3. Hit the CTRL+V keys or right-click and select Paste.

Format Spreadsheet

1. Select the font size desired from the drop-down. 2. Click the Wrap Text button to disable the warp text feature.

3. Click the mouse pointer at the top of Column A and hold down the button. 4. Drag to the right through Column J and release the button to select the columns with data.

5. Hover the mouse pointer between Columns J and K until the width symbol appears. 6. Double click to automatically adjust column width on the previously selected columns.

7. Click the Data ribbon. 8. Click the Filter button.

Note: Filters are optional and can be used to display only records meeting some specific criteria, i.e. Payment succeeded/Cancelled, a specific user token, plate vs. no plate etc.

Adjust Data

1. Left-click the mouse pointer at the far left of Row 1 and hold down the button. 2. Drag down the left of the screen through the last row without a Sticker and release the button

to select all rows of records without a Sticker issued. 3. Right click at the far left of the screen. 4. Select Delete from the pop-up menu.

Sort by User (Optional)

1. Click the Sort button.

2. Click the Sort… button.

3. Click User in the Sort by drop-down.

4. Click the Add Level button. 5. Click Sticker in the Then by drop-down. 6. Click the OK button.

Print Report (Optional)

1. Click the Page Layout ribbon. 2. Select 1 page from the Width drop-down. 3. Click the Orientation button. 4. Select the orientation desired. 5. Print the report.

Subsequent Reports Subsequent reports may be copied from Transaction Activity and pasted in a variety of ways:

• Continue to paste the new data at the bottom of the initial Excel worksheet. Filters and sorting may be utilized to isolate needed data

• Create a new worksheet within the existing Excel Workbook. • Create a new Excel Workbook file each day.
