Vernon Avenue to perform testing in accordance with AAMA 1304, Voluntary Specification for Forced Entry Resistance of Side-Hinged Door Systems, and AS 5041-Section 3, Methods of test – Security screen doors and window grilles, on their GDP4LHR, Screen Pivot Door. Results obtained are tested values and were secured by using the designated test method(s). Testing was conducted at CR Laurence Co., Inc. test facility in Los Angeles, California. SECTION 3 TEST METHOD(S) The specimens were evaluated in accordance with the following:
AAMA 205-15, In-Plant Testing Guidelines for Manufacturers and Independent Laboratories
AAMA 1304-02, Voluntary Specification for Forced Entry Resistance of Side-Hinged Door Systems
AS 5041-2003, Methods of test – Security screen doors and window grilles, Section 3
SECTION 4 MATERIAL SOURCE/INSTALLATION Test specimen was provided by the client. The specimen was installed into a Spruce-Pine-Fir wood buck. The rough opening allowed for a 1/8" shim space. The door was secured to test buck with #9 x 2” T20 trim head wood screws.. Installation of the tested product was performed by the client. SECTION 5 LIST OF OFFICIAL OBSERVERS
