General Tips
• Ask your subject to look slightly to the side of the camera to avoid red eye.
• Do not use zoom. This reduces the focus!• Always be aware of lighting.• Light directly behind your subject is generally
a bad thing!• Photography is an art. Be creative. Make your
pictures interesting.

High Angle
• The camera is generally placed above the subject in the picture.

Low Angle
• The camera is generally placed below the subject in the picture.
• Makes the subject look large and powerful.

Silhouette Photo
• This is one of the few times when it is acceptable to have light behind a person or object.
Action Shot
• The picture should demonstrate movement.
