CPDM DAT/MAT 2021- Test Instructions

Objectives

• Familiarize with the online test format

• Familiarize with the online tool

• Highlight Do’s and Don’ts

Online test format

• Only three types of questions

Multiple choice

Short Answers (Answers can only be in text and numerals)

Long Answers (Answers can only be in text and numerals)

• No uploads needed, not possible either

Keep a rough sheet next to you to workout the solutions

• Carefully read the instructions (overall and for each question)

• In the actual test, breakdown of marks will be given for each subsection

• Explain clearly without using too many words

Online tools

• Google Form and AutoProcter

▫ Time limits

▫ Detects malpractice, which may lead to disqualification

▫ Does not save automatically... So make sure to click submit in time

▫ Also, submit only when you are done and not mid-way

• In case of network disruption or lost connection

▫ notify immediately via email ([email protected]) with details of

application number (policy measures will take care of such cases)

Do’s • Make sure no other application is accessing the Web Camera at the same

time.

• Google Chrome is recommended.

• Carefully read the instructions on AutoProcter

• Keep Your Web camera at all times

▫ Make sure your camera captures your face

• Keep Your Microphone on at all times

• Share your full screen when prompted at the start of the AutoProcter session (Share all screens of you are connected to multiple screens)

• Make sure to click the submit button before the time limit is over (It Auto-closes without Auto-save)

Don’ts

• Do not block your web camera at any point in time during the test

• Do not mute your microphone at any point in time during the test

• Do not open any other application or Tab on your computer at any

point in time during the test

• Do not click refresh mid-way through the test even if the network

slows down. Any such activity is noted as a completed (but

unsubmitted) attempt.

• Do not forget to click the submit button!

Once you click the test link

Click try now when the test link takes you to this screen!

You should now see the actual test! You are ready to take the test!

If so, please scroll down and sign in (Fig. 2) to access the test.
