Help! I Can’t Really Teach Music
This CPD session is intended for KS1 curriculum teachers who lack confi dence in teaching music. Led by KS1 music educati on specialist, Fiona Kenward, this session is designed to build confi dence and provide dozens of practi cal ideas and acti viti es which can be used straight away in the classroom.
Fiona will help to explore the inter-related dimensions of music with instruments, singing, experimental play, compositi on and basic rhythm reading.

Assistive Technology
An opportunity for teachers that work with SEN/D children and young people to explore the uses of a variety of different Assistive Music Technology. Instruments on display will range from bespoke technology including Skoog, Beamz and iPads, as well as ‘hackable’ music tech such as BBC Microbit and Raspberry Pi. The focus will be on how technology can be used to increase inclusion in music lessons and promote musical expression and creativity.
