COVID-19 (2019 Novel Coronavirus) Quick Stats

(Preliminary Numbers, Subject to Change) Updated 4/22/2020

• There were 2,211 cases from 70 counties with 110 deaths reported as of 11 a.m.

• There have been 432 of 1,816 cases that have been hospitalized.

• There have been 17,992 negative tests conducted at KDHE and private labs.

• Age range is 0 years to 99 years (median 50 years)

• There have been 496 positive tests at KHEL and 1,715 at private labs.

• 1,116 cases are female and 1,088 are male and 7 unknown.

Please note, there has been a significant increase today due to KDHE not receiving lab reports from a private lab, which affected Lyon County numbers, along with

several other counties. We also anticipate seeing an increase in the next several days

for areas in Western Kansas due to the new testing strategies implemented. There may be delays with those county numbers being reflected in KDHE’s total due to the

additional time it’s taking to enter the lab reports.
