THE RICE FAMILY.

Nicholas Rice and his wife, Pauline Dull Rice, were born and married in Pennsyl¬ vania, A son, John Henry Rice, also born in Pennsylvania, on June 8, 1858 married Josephine Grove in 1883,

Born in 1867 in Murray, Indiana, Josephine Grove was the daughter of John and Matilda Wright Grove, who were pioneer residents of Bluffton, Indiana.

John Henry Rice died in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Sept.16, 1935 and Josephine died Oct.11, 1938, also in Fort Wayne. She was survived by two brothers, Wilson Grove of Bluffton and Dowe Grove of Caspar, Wyoming. John and Josephine Rice were survived by four sons and four daughters. The remainder of this booklet is a record of their descendants,

Joseph Andrew Rice was

born in this house in 1885
