Structure of your Law Studies

• 3 year law degree LLB OR • 4 year law degree LLB – a Unique four-year integrated

(thin sandwich) Degree - combines academic study with practical experience of the Law through a 1 year placement scheme

LLB is specific to law (a BA is broader)

Entry requirements 2014• GCE A-level AAB.• Irish AAABB. • Scottish AAB. • Advanced Diploma Progression Diploma Grade A in Society, Health and Development

or Business, Administration and Finance, plus an A-level at Grade B in a relevant subject for Additional and Specialist Learning (Extended Project Qualification in a relevant subject preferred).

• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma D*D*D* in Business or Public Services. • IBDP 35 points. • Access Pass, including Distinction for all Level 3 units. • For all of the above, 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above are also required,

including English (please note that these must have been gained by the time you submit your UCAS application).

How to apply

• You can apply for September entry either through UCAS or by using the Electronic Application System (EAS) set up with UCAS in schools, colleges and careers offices (where applications are submitted to UCAS through a teacher or careers adviser rather than individually).

• UCAS will normally start accepting applications from 1 September for entry in autumn the following year. The normal closing date for the receipt of on-time applications for both Home/EU and International applicants is 15 January.
