Bradford A. Woodworth, MD, holds the distinguished titles of James J. Hicks Professor of Otolaryngology and Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Otolaryngology, and Associate Scientist at the Gregory Fleming James Cystic Fibrosis
Research Center, University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he leads a multi-disciplinary minimally invasive skull base program.
Dr. Woodworth received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed an otolaryngology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a Rhinology and Sinus Surgery Fellowship and Rhinology Research Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Woodworth is a NIH funded researcher investigating therapeutic interventions that enhance mucociliary clearance in both cystic fibrosis and non-cystic fibrosis chronic rhinosinusitis. His research on cerebrospinal fluid leak/skull base defect repair is internationally recognized and he has published 160+ journal articles, 30 book chapters, and two rhinology textbooks related to sinus and skull base disorders. Dr. Woodworth will deliver the 8th Annual Robert J. Toohill, MD Lecture during Best Evidence ENT 2020.

Best Evidence ENT 2020 will update otolaryngologists and advanced practice providers on the latest evidence-based clinical care pathways and practice guidelines for patient assessment and treatment. The conference will also include a focused Rhinology Symposium, featuring guest lecturer Bradford A. Woodworth, MD, and a look at innovations and the future of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.
A conference reception for attendees and a guest will be held on Thursday evening, July 30 in the Kohler Design Center - a spectacular showcase of innovative product design and technology and a display of American history.

Educational Objectives: • Review best evidence and quality improvement
practices as they relate to medicine and the specialty of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, including how to use quality and safety data to improve their practices.
• Understand how to interpret best evidence guidelines and how to implement these in clinical practice.
• Understand new and updated management and intervention regarding opioid use in otolaryngology.
• Designate best evidence-based practices for vestibular disease, sleep apnea, tonsillitis, reflux, neck mass, and nasal and sinus disease.
