Appointed Person Moving Loads is stage one of the four stage ECITB process which validates the competence of an individual to be an Appointed Person responsible lift planning for moving loads. Refer to the ECITB APML Competency Framework. TARGET GROUP The target group for ECITB Appointed Person Moving Loads training is personnel overseeing, planning or managing load lifting and moving operations. DELEGATE PREREQUISITES In order to complete an ECITB Appointed Person Moving Loads training course delegates must have: An ECITB level 3 vocational qualification in steel erecting or moving loads; or Recent verifiable experience in moving loads operations validated by a company or delegate CV. PHYSICAL & STRESSFUL DEMANDS OF THE TRAINING A good standard of general fitness is required – delegates will complete a medical fitness questionnaire.
